Our Mission
91探花 at Shreveport, La (SUSLA) Wellness Center mission aims to support and foster mental health services and overall well-being by providing accessible, compassionate, and professional services. Common goals include promoting personal growth, helping individuals cope with life challenges as new college students, facilitating healing from mental illness, and educating the community to reduce the stigma.
Our Vision
Is to provide a safe and confidential environment for students to explore and resolve social, personal, or psychological issues and concerns that may affect their emotional functioning as well as hinder their academic matriculation.
Our Core Values
Confidentiality: The JWC adheres to its standards of FERPA as well as state regulations in maintaining the confidential nature of services rendered to its students.
Inclusion: We commit to valuing and appreciating the knowledge, skills, and awareness of commonalities as well as differences in the areas of age, gender, sexual identity and orientation, race, language, mental and physical ability, social and economic status, spirituality, and world views.
